Welcome to Anse Chastanet, an exclusive luxury eco-resort in St. Lucia nestled in the heart of the island’s breathtaking natural beauty. Our resort boasts one of the island’s most stunning panoramic views where the majestic Piti and Gros Piton mountains meet the serene Caribbean Sea. Positioned on a private estate of 600 lush tropical acres, Anse Chastanet borders two pristine soft-sand Caribbean beaches and offers access to untouched coral reefs just offshore, perfect for those interested in scuba diving in St. Lucia.

Our resort boasts extensive mountain biking and hiking trails within the Anse Mamin estate, blending adventure with breathtaking natural scenery. These trails meander through historical sites, offering guests a unique glimpse into the island’s rich past amidst lush tropical flora. Guests are invited to visit our Emerald Estate, where a variety of organic produce is cultivated, enhancing the organic dining and vegan experiences available to our guests. This dedication to fresh, organic ingredients is integral to our dining offerings and is reflected in the exceptional quality of meals served.

Created by architect and owner Nick Troubetzkoy, Anse Chastanet transcends traditional hospitality concepts by integrating the surrounding foliage, flowers, and scenic views into the guest experience. Here, the perfumes of the tropics, the iconic peaks, the azure sea, and the melodies of local birdlife are integral parts of your vacation.

Our estate is a gateway to the iconic Pitons, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and fronts two bays within a designated marine reserve, protecting vibrant coral reefs. Located on Anse Chastanet beach, our Scuba St. Lucia operation offers a full daily diving and coral nursery program, guided by experienced professionals.

Discover Anse Chastanet, where eco-conscious luxury meets a profound commitment to conservation, offering an escape that remains true to its heritage and serves as a beacon of tranquility and natural harmony.

Escape To Paradise

Anse Chastanet is the only St. Lucia resort which encompasses more than 600 tropical acres and borders not only one but two soft sand beaches. There are so many activities on offer right on site than many guests feel that a return visit is needed to get to see the rest of the island!

Walking, hiking, birdwatching – all of these activities can be enjoyed on the resort property itself in addition to which there are daily scheduled excursions off property and all over the island.

Being located on the Caribbean coastline, the Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin beaches and bay are perfect for sun bathing and swimming in calm crystal clear waters.

Anse Chastanet is in the heart of St. Lucia’s marine reserves and therefore offers excellent snorkelling and scuba diving right off shore. Non- motorized watersports are available from the resort watersports centre.

The old French Colonial plantation of Anse Mamin is located directly behind Anse Mamin beach and is a tropical garden of Eden with historical ruins dating back to the 18th century. The Anse Mamin plantation can be visited with one of the estate guides for a guided tour or guests can visit the plantation early morning or late afternoon for jogging on the estate trails. The resort mountain biking centre Bike St. Lucia also operates from the plantation and the active minded will enjoy a jungle biking adventure on one of the resort Cannondale mountainbikes.

Sailing on the resort’s sailing yacht, Suzi Q. Let the crew take you out on a full day, half day or sunset sailing trip. The Suzi Q can also be chartered for private sailing.

Boat excursions on the resort 60 foot double decker catamaran, the Miss Babsie on Thursdays, sign up for the Jazzy Champagne Sunset Cruise. Sail into the sunset with live jazz music aboard and sip champagne at sunset. The Miss Babsie also offers grand coastal and duty free shopping excursions on selected days during the week.

Walks on the Wild Side. At ANSE CHASTANET, our estate guides offer complimentary guided hikes and walks on the 600 acre estate. Their knowledge of history and local herbs and plants and their beneficial uses has been passed on from generation to generation.

About the Chocolate Laboratory

Do you like chocolate? Then you should visit our Chocolate Laboratory! There are over 2000 cocoa trees on the resort estates, including the organic farm Emerald’s in the Soufriere Hills. Since 2010, our resorts have hand-crafted Emerald Estate Chocolate for the enjoyment of our guests. And with the opening of the chocolate laboratory, guests are now able to not only taste but participate in the making of the chocolate.

Our Chocolate Events Flyer

Our resort guests can now choose from a variety of chocolate infused activities like chocolate sensory tastings, educational estate trips and truffle making classes on a year round basis. Chocolate lovers will be further enticed by chocolate inspired dishes, cocktails and body treatments in the resort restaurants, bars and spa.

Our Chocolate Spa Menu

Cocoa history on Saint Lucia dates back to the early 1700’s. There are many plantations on the island that have been harvesting and producing cocoa for many years supplying the local market and culture as well as becoming a part of the international commodity of Cocoa. In celebration, the month of August has been declared the “Month of Chocolate”.

In close collaboration with the resorts’ Consulting Chef Allen Susser, Jade Mountain’s Emerald Estate Organic Chocolate and Chocolate Laboratory are managed by the resorts’ very own Chocolate Alchemist.
