Local Diving & Events
Prairie divers are amazing - we jump into any body of water to check it out.
We are famous for making our own fun underwater!
Luckily, there are accessible lakes; and organizations that promote diving and dive events in Alberta and Saskatchewan. During the summer months Alberta Adventure Divers hosts weekly evening dive events at Clear Lake and Twin Lake. If you don't have a 'buddy' there will be other divers excited to join you: Tues at Clear Lake; Wed. at Twin Lake.
Rental equipment and breathing air fills available - call in advance to reserve equipment!
During the rest of the year, we host pool sessions in Wainwright, Lloydminster and Vermilion for certified divers and dive students. We also host movie nights where we bask in videos, photos and stories of previous dive vacations, as well as plan upcoming dive travel.
Along with offering a wide variety of PADI courses, Alberta Adventure Divers hosts several unique events throughout the year.
Pumpkin Dive
Have you ever carved a pumpkin underwater?
Join us every year at the end of Sept. for some great fun!
Women's Dive Day
This dive event encourages women to get together with other divers, have fun and experience diving fellowship with underwater buddies.
The men are invaluable, and 'sherpa' and assist!
Ice Diving
Get your thermals warmed up and experience the calm and serene environment under the ice at Clear Lake.
